Clubhouse Redevelopment Approved

The proposed redevelopment of the clubhouse facility took a significant step last week with planning consent being granted or the scheme submitted in late May.

Commenting on this Mark Thallon Club Chairman said, “We are delighted to receive planning consent for our ambitious scheme at Upritchard Park in just over 4 months from submitting the original application. This is an exciting step forward which allows us to now progress to the next stage of the design and procurement process as we target starting work on site by Easter 2025.

I would like to thank all the stakeholders involved in the application along with our team of consultants who have helped deliver this outcome, now the focus is on delivering the project and ramping up or fundraising initiatives through the Buy a Brick scheme with a target set of £100,000. 

I am also pleased to confirm that we are now over 25% of the way there with over £25,000 collected, I would encourage members and friends of the club along with the wider Bangor community to support this initiative in whatever way they can.”

There are several ways to pay, this includes completing the form and either making a bank transfer or paying by cheque, we have also set up a Crowdfunder page, please note that Crowdfunder automatically add a discretionary 10% tip which goes to cover Crowdfunder providing the portal, this can be removed during the sign up process.
